183 Brazilian coffee exporters gain access to Chinese market

China has authorised 183 new Brazilian companies to export coffee to its domestic market. The measure came into effect on 30 July and will remain valid for five years. This is reported by Band News, a partner of TV BRICS, citing the Chinese Embassy in Brazil.

The decision represents a major opportunity for Brazil’s coffee sector, particularly at a time when producers are seeking to diversify their export destinations.

The Chinese market is steadily becoming one of the key targets for Brazilian coffee exports, offering vast potential for small, medium, and large roasters alike.

In addition, the Chinese Embassy confirmed that 30 more Brazilian companies have been approved to export sesame to China, with permissions valid for the next four years.
