More than 2 thousand projects are competing for the All-Russian Prize «For Fidelity to Science»

The XI All-Russian Prize «For Fidelity to Science» received over 2 thousand applications from 81 regions of the country. The names of the winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 24, 2025. Laureates will be able to attend the V Congress of Young Scientists, as well as get a unique opportunity – travel on a nuclear icebreaker.

«We note the high level of projects, their wide geography and variety of formats. This clearly confirms that the popularization of science in Russia has reached a new qualitative level and continues to develop dynamically», – noted the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Denis Sekirinsky.

The projects submitted for the award cover a wide range of formats – from non-fiction podcasts and documentaries to interactive workshops, major science festivals, longreads, science shows, TV programmes and social media content.

The leaders in the number of applications were Moscow and the Moscow region – more than 500 projects, St. Petersburg – more than 180, as well as the Tyumen region, Novosibirsk region, Krasnodar region, Rostov region and the Republic of Tatarstan. The nominations aroused the greatest interest «Science – for children» (648 applications), «Author of digital content» (315) and «Scientific press service of the year» (202).

In the nomination «Author of digital content» declared Andrey Gula, project director produced by TV BRICS Laboratorium. This is a series of programs dedicated to scientific discoveries and the latest Russian developments.

«The Laboratorium project was created to talk about science simply and interestingly. Participation in the award allows us to present Russian discoveries to viewers from all over the country and inspire young people to scientific developments», – Gula emphasized.  

All applications are evaluated by the award’s expert council, which includes journalists, scientists, representatives of government agencies, foundations, companies and NGOs. The final decision on the laureates is made by the organizing committee.
