On April 22, the 11th meeting of the Russian-Pakistani Working Group on Countering International Terrorism and Other Security Challenges with the participation of representatives of the competent departments of both countries, co chaired by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin and Deputy Foreign Minister of Pakistan Nabeel Munir was held in Moscow9.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to key approaches to countering the spread of terrorism and extremism at the national, regional and global levels, and, in particular, the situation in Afghanistan, Central and South Asia and the Middle East.
Mutual readiness was expressed to further strengthen anti-terrorist and anti
extremist cooperation in a bilateral format and on international platforms, primarily within the framework of the United Nations and the SCO.
