Belarus will launch a joint production of medicines in Cuba

Belarus will establish a joint production of medicines in Cuba. The products are focused on the domestic market of Cuba, as well as on exports to the Caribbean. This is reported by BelTA, a partner of TV BRICS.

In addition, the Belarusian side plans to transfer technologies and raw materials for the organization of the production of dairy products in the island state.

“We would like these high-quality, useful products to become available to both Cubans and residents of neighboring regions,” Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.

He noted that the implementation of such projects will help improve the food security of both countries and create new opportunities to improve the lives of citizens. Lukashenko stressed that all agreements will be fully and on time.

It is noted that the launch of production opens up new prospects for expanding cooperation between the two states. The parties confirmed their readiness to develop a strategic partnership and discuss new joint initiatives.
