Indonesia’s economy grew by 5.12 percent, one of the best performance among the G20 and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries. This was announced by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto after the plenary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which was chaired by the President of the country Prabowo Subianto, transmits Antara News.

«The president discussed economic development at the meeting, noting a 5.12 percent increase, the highest among the G20 and ASEAN countries», – the minister noted.
According to him, the increase in the economy is also reflected in the labor market: as of February 2025, 97.73 percent of working citizens were employed, which is about 3.59 million people.
It is noted that strategic programs have also been launched to attract investment and increase exports through the development of industrial zones and expanding access to credit.
