A festival-fair will be held in Beijing «Made in Russia»

A festival-fair «Made in Russia» will be held in Beijing from August 28 to 30. The event is dedicated to Chinese Valentine’s Day, which is called Qixijie, and will take place on August 29. More than 40 companies from 26 regions of Russia will take part in it.

Visitors will be able to see and purchase over 500 Russian premium goods –from organic food and cosmetics to souvenirs and handicrafts. The program includes – tastings, cultural performances and a meeting with a special guest of the festival.

Director General of REC Veronica Nikishina she noted that Russian companies have high export potential in China. According to her, the country values quality, environmental friendliness and naturalness – everything that distinguishes Russian brands. She added that the Beijing fair continues a series of successful festivals «Made in Russia», which over the past year and a half have been held in Dalian, Chengdu, Harbin and Shenyang and have shown great interest from Chinese partners and consumers in the event.

B2B negotiations between Russian manufacturers and Chinese importers and distributors will also take place at the site. Popular Chinese bloggers will broadcast live to introduce Russian brands to millions of viewers across the country.

Since 2017, the festival-fair «Made in Russia» has been held in different cities of China. The event is organized by the Russian Export Center (REC), a partner of the international media network TV BRICS, with the support of the governments of the Russian Federation and China.

In February, TV BRICS and REC entered into a cooperation agreement, which provides for information support for Russian exporters in the media of the BRICS+ countries.
