According to the minister, in the near future in Indonesia will be held negotiations with the delegation of Russian state companies. It is planned to discuss the expansion of technological cooperation in the field of energy, in particular, the restoration of old and unused wells in the republic.
Earlier, Putin at a meeting with Subianto said that Russian companies are already working effectively in the country. In particular, the joint construction of the oil refining and petrochemical complex in East Java continues. He also noted Russia’s readiness to connect to new oil and gas projects on the Indonesian shelf.
In addition, the parties are negotiating investments in the refinery in Tuban. It is expected that the cost of the project can be up to $ 24 billion (more than 1.88 trillion rubles).
