Nigeria and Egypt will expand cooperation in the field of aviation

Nigeria and Egypt signed a memorandum of understanding to develop cooperation in the aviation sector. The document was signed in Abuja by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development of Nigeria Festus Keyamo and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Badrom Abdel Ati. This is reported News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), TV BRICS partner.

As Keyamo noted, this agreement confirms the two countries’ desire to develop aviation and will help strengthen trade, tourism and diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Egypt.

According to him, the memorandum is in line with the new program on bilateral aviation agreements developed by the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC). It will help develop technical cooperation, new routes and improved infrastructure.

In turn, Abdel Ati said that Egypt is ready to develop cooperation with Nigeria in all areas. He emphasized that both countries play an important role in ensuring stability and development on the continent, and also noted the high demand for air travel between Egypt and Nigeria.
