Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin met with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.A.Rakhmetullin in Moscow5.
They discussed the development of the security situation and bilateral cooperation in countering new challenges and threats, including international terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking.
Special attention was paid to building up Russian Kazakh partnership on key global and regional international platforms, including the United Nations, the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO, in the interests of ensuring stability and security in the Central Asian region.
