It is noted that the Indonesian Ministry of Transport has again assigned international status to three airports: Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang, H. A. S. Hananjoeddin Airport in Banka Belitung Province and General Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang.
Minister of Transport Dudi Purwagandi he explained that this decision was due to increased passenger traffic after the pandemic. The reopening of international destinations is seen as a step towards economic and tourism development.
