Voting in Namibia started at 7H00 on Wednesday with polls closing at 21H00. The youngest Of Namibia’s candidates is a 37-year-old professor Job Amupanda, the oldest being Henk Mudge at the age of 72.
Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah is the only woman in a race where most women vote. Namibians are waiting for the results of the fiercely contested elections; vote counting is underway. There were large queues outside polling stations on Wednesday as the youth cast their votes for a new parliament and president; voting stopped at nine.
